It’s not a tortilla. It’s not a wrap. And it’s most certainly not a pita. Hold on to your berets! Our Vermont farmhouse kitchen is now making authentic, delicious French style CRÊPES. These famous European pancakes have now come to the Green Mountains.

We offer them in two versions: the traditonal “Galette” (gluten-free and made entirely out of buckwheat flour) delectable filled with savory goodies and the sweet “Froment” that is so well known and served with jam and whipped cream.

Galettes are a wheat-free and gluten-free pancake made from 100% buckwheat flour, eggs, and a pinch of salt. A savory alternative to the more traditional dessert crêpe, it is a perfect served with as a main course with fish, cheese, meats, and sauces.

The more well-known Froment -or dessert crêpe – made from white flour can be accompanied by ice cream, whipped cream, chocolate sauce or maple syrup. Let your sweet tooth and your imagination be your guide. Serve this quick and easy dessert with the topping of your choice! And kids love them, too.
